ACCELERATED EXPOSURE

Competitor Teardown

Your website and up to three competitors, put through the same 25 checks on the same day by the same scanner. One grid. Who wins each one. Where the open lanes are. $297 CAD, one time, same-day delivery.

The question most quotes come down to is not whether your business is good. It is whether your website gives a stranger a reason to pick you over the one they are already looking at. That one gets answered with evidence or it does not get answered at all.

Nobody tells you what their website really looks like next to yours. This does.

What gets measured

Twenty five checks, run on every site, grouped into four honest buckets. The names of every check appear in the report so you can run them yourself.

BucketWhat it tells you
Where you are losing At least one competitor passes the check and you do not. Ordered by what each one costs you, heaviest first, so the top of the list is the one worth fixing on Monday.
Where you are ahead You pass and at least one competitor does not. Worth knowing, and worth saying out loud when you are quoting against them.
Nobody has it Open lanes. Checks nobody in this group passes, yours included. These are the cheapest advantages on the list, because being first costs the same as being last and nobody has moved yet.
Everybody passes Table stakes for your market. You are not winning anything here, but if any of these ever broke you would be the one who looked wrong overnight.

What a real report looks like

Rather than show you an invented example, here is a real run. We put four well funded website platforms through the engine on the same day. None of them is a casual operator, and the result still has three places where one is losing to another.

Nobody fakes losing to Shopify by three points. The scoreboard is one number because it is the one most people want to see first; the grid is the rest of the report, because one number does not say which 25 things moved to get it.

And nobody in that market has image dimensions set, so a client who fixes it on Monday is the only one of the four who passes a Google Core Web Vitals signal the others do not. One line of HTML per image. The report tells you which pages, and that is a cheap advantage that will not stay available for long.

What it costs

Then the Blind Spot

$497 CAD, one time

  • The Teardown measures how the sites are BUILT. The Blind Spot Report measures WHAT they sell that you never mention.
  • Service gap, proof gap, orphaned services, vocabulary gap, machine readability.
  • Most clients order both and get the full picture before committing to a monthly watch.

What this is not

Questions

Is this the same thing as the free check?

No. The free check reads your site and tells you what is passing and failing. The Teardown runs the same 25 checks against three of your competitors on the same day, lines them up on one grid, and tells you who wins each one. The free check tells you the state of your website. The Teardown tells you where you stand against the people you lose work to.

What exactly gets measured?

The 25 checks the free tool runs: whether your site is secure, works on a phone, is readable by screen readers, declares what it sells to search engines and AI assistants, and will not land your invoices in spam. Every one is checkable in a browser. Nothing in the report is an opinion.

Does this measure page speed, or who is higher in Google?

No, and anybody who runs one scan from one machine and tells you otherwise is selling you a stopwatch as a stadium. The Teardown measures how the sites are BUILT, which is a cause of those things, not a report of them. Honest about the limit on the first page of the report.

What is an "open lane"?

A check where nobody in the group passes. It is the cheapest kind of advantage, because being first costs the same as being last and your competitors have not moved yet. In the sample below, nobody had image dimensions set, which Google penalises. Whoever fixes it first gets the small advantage, and the small advantage is often the one that is still available.

How many competitors should I name?

Two or three. One is a comparison, three is a market. Past that the findings stop changing and you are paying for confirmation. The report is capped at three.

How is this different from the Blind Spot Report?

Different question. The Teardown reads one page from each site and measures HOW it is built. The Blind Spot Report reads your site and your competitors in full, and measures WHAT they sell that you never mention. One is about the plumbing. The other is about the menu. Clients who want the full picture usually order the Teardown first because it is cheaper and faster, then the Blind Spot if the plumbing is already in good shape.

Why only one page per site?

Because the thing being measured is site-level, not page-level, and a crawler reading twenty pages per competitor would be slower, harder to verify by hand, and no more accurate for these checks. SPF, HTTPS, robots.txt and the rest are the same number no matter which page you open. We say this on the report rather than hide it.

When do I get it?

The same day you order it. The engine runs in about a minute per site. The only thing between you and the report is the few hours it takes somebody to read through it and confirm nothing weird happened.
